Career

• 1996 First encounter with code. My dad kinda forced me to write some lines of LOGO and QBasic. I will always be grateful for this moment..

• 2008 - 2014 In 2008 I joined the Department of Electronics and Computer Engineering at the Technical University of Crete, where I attended several courses like Databases with MySQL Embedded Microprocessors, Graphics, Human-Computer Interaction, Object Oriented Programming with Java, Web Development. Finished my studies in 2014, when I obtained a Master's Degree.

• 2012 - 2014 My first professional work started in 2012. During this period I worked as a Freelance Web Developer on projects with Java, Spring Framework, but also on several Wordpress sites.

• 2014 - 2015 My first fullstack experience (PHP/Laravel & JQuery) and a milestone for me and my profesional career was my contribution to the development of Fotocopia.

• 2015 - 2016 In 2015 I decided to join Book'n'Bloom as a Frontend Developer. There I mainly did Angular and Mobile Development, using the Ionic Framework (Version 1) but also native languages (Java & Objective-C) in order to use and modify Cordova plugins. I was maintaining the company's page on Android's Play Store and Apple's App Store, as well as the responsibility of the company's mobile projects. In parallel I worked as a Freelance Mobile Developer for other companies like Webflow and LimeCreative.

• 2016 - 2017 In 2016 I decided that it was time for me to move abroad. In January 2016 I moved to Hamburg where I got a full-time contract in eSailors GMBH as a Frontend Developer. There, I was part of the team that was responsible for maintaining tipp24's and mylotto24's responsive webshops and our main goal was to develop a new Single-Page-Application (Javascript and Typescript - Angular).

• 2017 - 2025 In December 2017 I decided to start my Freelancing adventure. While maintaining my role as a Fullstack Developer for Lotto24 AG, I got hired by several clients around the world and developed various web & mobile applications using Typescript, Java, Kotlin, Angular, VueJS, Ionic, NodeJS, React, and more recently Astro, NextJS and GoLang.

• 2025 - TODAY In November 2025 I became Technical Lead at ZEAL Network SE in Hamburg. I lead Team Retention, working primarily with Angular: improving the customer experience, strengthening accessibility, shipping features and experiments around retention, and supporting the team on technical decisions. The journey continues..
